Personale follows the housekeeping team of a hotel in the Italian Dolomites. In laundries and corridors, the film observes movements, gestures, routes and working processes, allowing individual stories to resonate inside the architecture of the hotel.

The film reverses the usual tourist gaze and looks with the workers into the backstage of the hospitality industry.
